Day 1: You Were Made for More
Devotional
Have you ever felt like you were just going through the motions in your faith? Showing up, doing the right things, but still feeling like something was missing? You are not alone. Many believers experience genuine salvation but never fully step into what God has made available to them. Not because they lack faith, but because their minds have never been renewed to the truth of who they really are. Think about the Israelites. They walked through a parted sea on dry ground. They witnessed miracle after miracle. And yet, days later, they were complaining in the wilderness, thinking like slaves instead of the free people God had declared them to be. Sound familiar? God has not held anything back from you. Scripture says He has blessed you with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ. Every. Single. One. The problem is not what God has given. The problem is what we believe about what we have received. This week, we are going to explore one of the most powerful and life-changing truths in all of Scripture. It is not complicated, but it will challenge the way you think about yourself, about God, and about the life you are living right now. You were made for more than survival. You were made for union with God Himself. And that changes everything.
Bible Verse
"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ." - Ephesians 1:3 (New King James Version (NKJV))
Reflection Question
In what area of your life are you still thinking like a spiritual orphan rather than someone who has full access to everything God has provided?
Quote
"We've been delivered from slavery, but we're still thinking like slaves.” Pastor John Pool
Prayer
Father, open my eyes this week to the truth of who I am in You. Renew my mind and help me step into the life You have always intended for me. Amen.
