Jesus, Faithful And True - Day 5

Day 5: You're Going to Make It

Devotional

Here's the most encouraging truth you'll hear today: if you've asked Jesus into your heart, you're going to make it. Not because you're strong enough, smart enough, or good enough, but because He is faithful to complete what He started in you. This isn't about your ability to hold on to God; it's about His ability to hold on to you. God never gives up on His children, even when we stumble, struggle, or feel like failures. He's working in you right now, creating both the desire and the power to live for Him. The very fact that you want to grow spiritually, that you desire to please God, is evidence that He's working in your heart. His faithfulness isn't dependent on your performance; it's rooted in His unchanging character. So when you feel weak, remember His strength. When you feel like giving up, remember He never gives up on you. You're going to make it because He's faithful to see that you do.

Bible Verse
'Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.' - Philippians 1:6 (New King James Version)

Reflection Question
How does knowing that God will complete His work in you change your perspective on your spiritual struggles?

Quote

You know what that means? We're going to make it. Oh, we're going to make it. And the reason we're going to make it is because he is faithful to see that we make it. - Pastor Alex Wilson

Prayer
Father, thank You for never giving up on me. Help me trust in Your faithfulness to complete what You've started in my life, even when I feel weak or discouraged. In Jesus name amen. In Jesus name amen.
