Day 3: Promises You Can Count On
Devotional
When someone breaks a promise to us, it hurts. But what if you had someone in your life who never broke a single promise? That's exactly what we have in Jesus. His faithfulness isn't just a nice theological concept - it's proven through His reliable promises. When He promises to forgive our sins upon confession, He does it completely. When He promises healing according to His Word, we can stand on that truth. When He promises to supply our needs, He's faithful to provide. The beautiful thing about Jesus is that His 'yes' means yes. He doesn't make empty promises or give false hope. Every word He speaks carries the weight of His faithful character behind it. This means we don't have to live in uncertainty about our forgiveness, our healing, or our provision. We can approach life with confidence, knowing that what He has promised, He will perform. His track record is perfect, and His future performance is guaranteed by His unchanging nature.

'For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.' - 2 Corinthians 1:20 (New King James Version)
