Day 1: The Only Answer

In a world full of options, we often treat Jesus like one choice among many. We have backup plans, alternative solutions, and multiple strategies for every problem. But what if the very thing we think makes us wise actually weakens our faith? When we have endless options, we can drift from the truth that Jesus isn't just an answer - He's the only answer. Unlike believers in impoverished areas who find tremendous hope in Christ because they have no other alternatives, we sometimes struggle to fully embrace His sufficiency. We live as if Jesus is our Plan A, but we keep Plans B through Z in our back pocket. This mindset robs us of experiencing the full power and peace that comes from complete dependence on Him. Today, consider the areas of your life where you've been treating Jesus as one option among many. What would change if you truly believed He was your only answer?

Lord, help me to see You not as one option among many, but as my only true answer. Give me the faith to trust You completely, even when the world offers countless alternatives. In Jesus name amen.
