Day 2: You Matter to Him

There is a lie that quietly takes root in hard seasons. It whispers that you are too small, your problems too ordinary, and your needs too insignificant to deserve God's full attention. It tells you that He is busy with bigger things. That lie is wrong. You matter to God. Not as one face in a crowd, but as someone He knows completely and cares for deeply. Matthew 9:36 tells us that when Jesus saw the crowds, He was moved with compassion. He did not see a mass of people. He saw individuals carrying real burdens, and His heart went out to them. His care is not reserved for the dramatic moments. He cares about the small frustrations, the quiet worries, and the things you have not even said out loud yet. Nothing about your life is too minor to bring to Him. First Peter 5:7 reminds us that we can cast our anxiety on Him because He cares for us. That word "cares" is not passive. It is active, attentive, and personal. He is not watching from a distance. He is present, and He is paying attention to you. You are not an afterthought to God. You are the reason He showed up.
