Faith That Moves Mountains Pt 2 - Day 1

Day 1: He Was Never Gone

Devotional

There are seasons when God feels distant. The silence stretches on, circumstances pile up, and you begin to wonder if He is even paying attention. But feelings are not facts, and His presence is not determined by what you can sense in the moment. God made a promise that He has never broken. He said He would never leave you or forsake you. Not when life is hard. Not when you feel alone. Not when the prayers seem to bounce off the ceiling. That promise is not tied to your performance or your emotional state. It is tied to His character, and His character does not change. Here is something worth sitting with today. He already knows your thoughts before you think them. He is already in your tomorrow, working things out and answering prayers you have not yet prayed. What you might be tempted to write off as a lucky break or a coincidence is often something far greater. It is the favor of God, quietly and faithfully at work in your life. You are not navigating this season alone. He is wrapped up in every detail, even the ones that feel too small to bring to Him. Nothing about your life is outside of His awareness or His care. Today, instead of focusing on what feels absent, take a moment to look for where He has already shown up. You might be surprised by what you find.

Bible Verse

"O Lord, You have searched me and known me. You know my sitting down and my rising up; You understand my thought afar off." - Psalm 139:1-2 (New King James Version (NKJV))

Reflection Question

If God is already present in your tomorrow, how might that change the way you approach the uncertainty you are facing today?

Quote
"He is already in our tomorrow, working things out and answering prayers we have not yet prayed."

Prayer
Lord, thank You for the promise that You will never leave me or forsake me. Open my eyes to see where You are already at work in my life, even in the places I have overlooked. Amen.
