Be Strong In The Lord - Day 4

Day 4: Know the Enemy's Strategy

Devotional
Have you ever noticed that doubt and discouragement seem to show up at the worst possible moments? Right after a breakthrough. Right after God speaks something over your life. Right when things are starting to move in the right direction. That is not a coincidence. The enemy has a strategy, and it is a simple one: get you to agree with a lie instead of a promise. If he can get you to doubt what God said, He does not need to do much else. You will do the work of holding yourself back. This is exactly why the shield of faith matters so much. Faith is not just a feeling. It is a decision to hold onto what God has said even when circumstances are screaming something different. Every time you choose to believe God's Word over the enemy's lie, you are using that shield exactly the way it was designed to be used. You do not have to be perfect at this. You do not have to have it all figured out. You just have to pick up what God has already given you and use it. His Word has a life of its own. When you wield it, it works. Do not let the enemy talk you out of what God has already spoken over you. Hold the line.

Bible Verse
"Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might." - Ephesians 6:10 (New King James Version (NKJV))

Reflection Question
What lie has the enemy been using most consistently against you, and what specific promise from God directly contradicts it?

Quote
"The devil has a strategy and his strategy is to take you out."

Prayer
Lord, open my eyes to the strategies the enemy uses against me. Give me the faith to hold onto Your promises even when everything around me says otherwise. Amen.
