Transformation - Day 1

Day 1: You Are Already Loved

Devotional
Before you took a single step toward God, He was already running toward you. That is not a poetic idea. It is the truth of who He is. He is not watching you from a distance, arms crossed, waiting for you to get it together. He is close, compassionate, and completely in love with you. Sometimes life makes it hard to believe that. Mistakes pile up. Old habits resurface. You look in the mirror and wonder if God is tired of you. He is not. His character does not change based on your performance. He is gracious, longsuffering, and overflowing with mercy, and that is the God who lives inside of you right now. This is where everything begins. Before we talk about healing, renewal, or walking in God's promises, we have to settle this foundation: God is for you. He is not your problem. He is your answer. You do not have to earn His love or prove your worth to receive it. It was given freely, and it is yours. Start here today. Let this truth sink in a little deeper than it did yesterday. You are not on probation with God. You are His, and He is yours.

Bible Verse
"But You, O Lord, are a God full of compassion, and gracious, longsuffering and abundant in mercy and truth." - Psalm 86:15 (New King James Version (NKJV))

Reflection Question
If you truly believed God was not disappointed in you, how would that change the way you approached Him today?

Quote
God is not mad at you. God is not mad at you. He loves you. He is hopelessly, passionately in love with you.

Prayer
Father, thank You for loving me not because of what I have done but because of who You are. Help me to receive Your love fully today and let it be the foundation everything else is built on. Amen.
