Effective Faith - Day 5

Day 5: Live From What You Already Have

Devotional

You have spent this week learning that God is not holding back, that what you do not know is affecting you, that faith is meant to be active, and that revelation produces confidence. Now it is time to bring it all together. You are forgiven. You are free. You are healed. You are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. You are the temple of the Holy Spirit. These are not things you are working toward. They are realities that exist in you right now because of your union with Jesus. The invitation today is simple: stop living as if the account is empty. Start living from what is already there. That means renewing your mind daily with God's Word. It means speaking truth out loud, not to convince God, but to align yourself with what He has already done. It means choosing to agree with your legal position in Christ rather than your current feelings or circumstances. God's Word is higher than your fear. It is higher than your diagnosis. It is higher than your past. And as you grow in the knowledge of what Christ has placed within you, your faith will stop being a seed sitting in your hand and start becoming a tree bearing real fruit in your life. The resources are already in the account. Go live like it.

Bible Verse

"Now we have received, not the Spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God." - 1 Corinthians 2:12 (New King James Version (NKJV))

Reflection Question
What is one specific truth about your identity in Christ that you will choose to confess and act on this week, even if your circumstances do not yet reflect it?

Quote
"What you recognize and know about your life in Christ affects how you live your life every day."

Prayer
Lord, thank You that everything I need is already mine in Christ. Help me to live from that truth today and every day, not striving to get what You have already given. Amen.
