You Matter To Him - Day 5

Day 5: Say It Until You Believe It

Devotional
What you believe in your heart eventually comes out through your mouth. But the reverse is also true. What you consistently speak begins to shape what you believe. Romans 10:9-10 connects confession and belief in a powerful way. Speaking truth out loud is not just an expression of faith. It is also a builder of faith. When you declare that God is good, that He cares for you, and that you matter to Him, you are not just saying words. You are training your heart to receive what is already true. Romans 8:31-32 makes the case plainly. If God did not spare His own Son but gave Him freely for all of us, there is nothing else He would withhold that we truly need. The cross is the ultimate proof that you matter to Him. It is the clearest, most costly declaration of His care. Let that truth move from your head into your heart by speaking it. Say it out loud today: God is good. I matter to Him. His care is real and it is for me. You are not just repeating a phrase. You are agreeing with what God has already said about you. And as you keep agreeing, your confidence in His goodness will grow stronger than your fear.

Bible Verse

"that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." - Romans 10:9-10 (New King James Version (NKJV))

Reflection Question

What is one truth about God's goodness or care that you need to start speaking out loud, even if part of you is still working to fully believe it?

Quote

"What you believe in your heart comes out through your mouth."

Prayer
Lord, I declare today that You are good and that I matter to You. Strengthen my faith as I speak these truths, and let my words align my heart with what You have already said about me. Amen.
