Day 3: Safe in the Storm

Picture this: you're in a boat during a fierce storm, waves crashing over the sides, wind howling, and you're convinced you're about to die. But sleeping peacefully in the same boat is the One who created the wind and waves. This was the disciples' reality, yet they panicked. They were actually in the safest place they could possibly be - with Jesus. But their natural minds couldn't grasp this truth in their moment of crisis. Sound familiar? How often do we panic about situations when we have Jesus right there with us? The kingdom says believe first, then you'll see. But we're conditioned to wait to see before we believe. Today, whatever storm you're facing, remember that if Jesus is in your boat, you're in the safest place possible. His presence doesn't guarantee smooth sailing, but it does guarantee safe arrival.
