Day 4: A Delay Is Not a Denial

Waiting is hard. And when the answer does not come when we expect it, doubt has a way of filling the silence. We start to wonder if God heard us, if He cares, or if something has gone wrong. The enemy is strategic in those moments. He works to reframe the wait as abandonment. But a delay is never a denial. Psalm 56:8 offers one of the most tender pictures of God's attentiveness: He collects every tear. He records every sorrow. He is not missing a single moment of what you are going through. While you may feel unseen, He has been tracking every detail of your story with care. God's timing is not indifference. It is intentional. His process is always working for your benefit and for His glory, even when you cannot see it yet. The children of Israel saw miracle after miracle and still doubted at the first sign of delay. We can fall into the same pattern, forgetting what He has already done and assuming the worst about what He is doing now. Choose to remember. Look back at what He has already carried you through. Let that history build your confidence in what He is doing right now, even in the waiting.
