Effective Faith - Day 4

Day 4: Confidence Comes From Knowing

Devotional

Abraham was 100 years old when God promised Him a son. By every natural measure, it was impossible. But Romans 4 tells us he did not waver. He did not look at his own body and give up. He stayed confident because he had a revelation of who God was and what God was capable of. That is the kind of faith we are invited into. Not a faith that ignores reality, but a faith that holds a higher reality above what our eyes can see. Revelation produces confidence. When you truly know that you are forgiven, healed, free, and righteous in Christ, not as future hopes but as present realities, it changes how you pray, how you speak, and how you face hard days. Instead of begging God for something He has already given, you begin to thank Him for what He has done and release what is already inside of you. You are one Spirit with Christ (1 Corinthians 6:17). Jesus and the Holy Spirit are interceding for you right now. You are not alone, and you are not without resource. The more you know that, the more confidently you will walk in it. Confidence is not arrogance. It is simply knowing who you are in Him.

Bible Verse
"To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory." - Colossians 1:27 (New King James Version (NKJV))

Reflection Question
How would your prayers and daily decisions change if you were fully convinced that God has already provided everything you need in Christ?

Quote
"Revelation produces confidence."

Prayer
Father, give me a revelation of who I am in You. Let that knowledge produce a confidence that changes how I live, speak, and believe. Amen.
